Health update

Today I’ve finally had my second gyn appointment and my cysts have disappeared, meaning they’re benign and cancer is not back!!

Now it’s time to fight against endo and hormonal disorders (well, and mental health) BUT there’s no cancer relapse and that’s all that matters now.

I don’t have to see a single doctor until mid May so… lemme just rest and forget about what’s going on until then.

You have no idea how much I wanted to say this.

It doesn’t matter that this infusion went with some altercations. It doesn’t matter that now I feel like if all of my bones were broken. It just doesn’t matter anymore because now I have no hurry on healing. I can take my time on rest, because there’s no more chemo. I don’t have to stress myself because 3 weeks isn’t enough for my body to fully recover.

Fifth chemo...

Quick update to say that my fifth chemo went well. They could put the infusion on high speed so I didn’t have to take my lunch in the hospital (Covid spread is in a VERY BAD situation here and taking off my mask to eat was not a good idea).

I’m ready to face now side effects at home, which I hope I can bear decently.

My #artvsartist2021 is very different from other years. It’s not been a very productive year for the obvious reasons, but I’ve had the chance to express another kind of art. That one that has born with my cancer diagnose and experience. That one that depicts my fears and my hopes.

... and happy to announce that infusion went perfectly fine again! Only a bit of trouble in the beginning when trying to catch a proper vein but fortunately they could avoid again the catheter (it hurts so much...).

Side effects have not appeared yet but tonight I’ll start my meds to avoid vomiting every 10 minutes.

From now, breathe...

and, for the first time, infusion went PERFECTLY WELL. No PICC needed, no allergic reactions, no accidents with my veins... what a victory!

However, side effects later at home have been bad, very bad XD I started vomiting last night and it only stopped a few hours ago, just before lunch. I’ve not been tolerating any food or liquids (and nor my medicines) so I almost dehydrated myself, but fortunately I didn’t need hospitalisation and...

I finally was allergic to one of the medicines of the treatment (first time I didn’t have any reaction because I generated antibodies, from what I’ve been told) so I had the worst experience ever by having 3 allergic reactions in 20 minutes. That meant I’d probably need a treatment change, which also means reducing my possibilities of getting cured.

Bad news is my veins are very small and after 4 hours and half of treatment, I suffered a severe accident because one of my veins literally exploited. I got like 7 more painful injections like in 10 seconds in that vein to clean it and all of the platinum was tearing over my arm... and IT FUCKING SPARKS XD It’s beautiful but scary as...

Biopsy + news

Okay, it’s been a while, but I finally have all of the results of my biopsy. I still have endometriosis, but I also have a cancer. One cancer provoked by my endo. One of the least aggressive I could have. Stage and grade I.
