Second chemo...

... and what a roller coaster. I finally was allergic to one of the medicines of the treatment (first time I didn’t have any reaction because I generated antibodies, from what I’ve been told) so I had the worst experience ever by having 3 allergic reactions in 20 minutes. That meant I’d probably need a treatment change, which also means reducing my possibilities of getting cured.

However, there was a solution: Trying to give me my chemo in very small doses. Instad 5 hours, I needed 12, but whatever it takes to get my treatment! I almost was hospitalised but we avoided it and finished treatment in time \o/

I won’t lie. I was very scared when they said I was not tolerating my treatment but fortunately there was a solution. 12 hours chemo is quite exhausting but still better than changing my medicines.

Also, despite those bad reactions (which only happened at the beginning! I could finish the rest of my treatment perfectly fine), there was no accident this time with my veins! The trick was being VERY hydrated everytime. That way, my veins were thick and strong during the process and they were not damaged this time.

The only bad thing is tonight I had a very strong side effect and I vomited all of my previous dinner (ugh) but today I’m much better and eating again and tolerating food very well. That’s all that matters now!

Thanks for reading and for your support. This is the hardest thing I’m facing in my entire life but it’s thanks to you and all the loving people around me that I’m bearing it well.
