Two custom character designs for folks on ToyHouse <3
The purple, black and white one is based off an anime character from the show Soul Eater (see the WIP), and the other is based off an illustration of the night sky (it's included on the image)
There are multiple versions of the first one attached below because I couldn't decide which I liked best, the second they liked as it was!

A super fun design commission, made in a couple hours for iRaize! I love drawing pokemon, and had an especially good time trying to get that suave Space Dandy character "Meow" vibe haha The commissioner gave me free choice to design the clothing, so 80s punk it was!
I hope to do more like this in the near future, really digging the pencil soft outline look with clean colour additions.
Just a doodle of a big burd with a tiny burd brain. I imagine he enjoys walks on the beach, birdseed, and frootloops. Maybe also guarding your nearest dungeon entrance.
He's actually a wise guy, something like...the owl in secret of NIMH, all echoey and mysterious and spooky, except I apparently draw scary things cute. There you have it folks!

So, you ever have genres you wish were less focused on stereotypes, or wish you could deviate a little from the norm and still have a viable concept?

Just a bit of a method for doing spiral type horns! This is a pretty simple one, not so much a science but more of intuitive sort of concept. Doing shape patterns without making your brain fry is something I struggle with, but this imprecise measurement technique seems to help a bit!
