Absence and Updates!

Ha! Yeah, the past month and a half has been a very slow roller coaster, that also derailed! Yaaayy - but alas! I am alive, I am (finally) well again, and returning to updates this month!

For the busy folks, here is the short version: 

I went on holiday to Majorca for two weeks in October for my birthday (I got old). 

Came home to two massive commercial projects on my plate with deadlines - one I met, the other I did not, but hopefully I wont be fired forever? T..T 

I got Covid 19 in the middle of November (not from the holiday, we think from our local store because that's the only place we go) and have been recovering since.

And now tonight, I'm finishing up the remainder of my work, which is annoyingly under a no-sharing contract so I don't even have anything to show for the past weeks on these all-consuming projects. The frustration is very real at the moment!

On the 13th of December, I will be travelling to see my parents for the first time in four years! It's something to look forward to, but yet another delay for commissions and time that can't be entirely spent on art. This year has felt like it slipped away, and despite getting a lot done and being productive work-wise, I can hardly remember a year that went by so fast. I really AM feeling old and worn out.

In other news, I'll be attending Nordic Fuzz Con in 2022, and will have a table in the artist's alley hopefully! I'll be selling prints, decals, and possibly sketches but that's yet to be decided I admit! There will also be another piece in the art show, a canvas print of my next Game Boss Dragon series, this time the platform will be Space (and if I have time, Jungle too!) Of course, WIPs and final print copies will be available on here when completed.

For holidays this year, I plan to dig out most of my sketchy art collection and put it into a large file to share with you all - old and new stuff, small sketches and WIPs of arts not yet completed (or already finished) - I have so much art that doesn't get posted and figured someone ought to see it before it gets lost in my archives forever haha

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, I am thankful to all of you for simply being here and sharing the art journey with me! It's a pleasure and joy to finally get the chance to draw things just because it's fun, rather than always for work reasons. <3

Tomorrow I will post several arts to start making up for lost time, and take a good look at those Polls from a bit ago and see what you all want for 2022. See you soon!
