So this is Christmas

It was a horribly rainy day in the studio when Grace came in for her Christmas session! She was also having her hair and make up done, which went a little over as well. I was extremely nervous on the lighting conditions, and how things would play out. As many of you know, I rely heavily on natural light for my studio sessions.

I had so much fun working with my friend, Alyssa today at the greenhouse in Forest. I knew she would be doing a Christmas look, and she always finds a new way to impress/surprise me! Today’s look was so classy, yet a little bit dangerous? I cannot wait to share the entire album with you all. It is such a beautiful and sophisticated vibe. I am dying over it.

I did it!

I have been talking about this for a hot minute, but I finally did it! I have gone mirrorless! This opens so many windows of opportunity for videography. I do have to wait for my adapter piece so that my current sigma art lenses can work on this body! But I am so excited to see where this takes my business/art!!

Burn out reversed

From the month of August until January I am typically shooting every single day of the week, sometimes multiple sessions on top of editing 4 to 8 hours a day. At this point, I am running on fumes and coffee.

Blacklight

Tonight is our first black light session of the season! I am so excited to see what we capture this year. Last year I was extremely pregnant and it made the whole process a little bit more difficult for me.

Busy season

I have been absolutely swamped lately! Barely anytime to do anything except take pictures. But let me tell you this victory. I had my highest paying month last month that I’ve ever had so! Give me some high fives homies!
