Shadow Play

I am slow as heck. Working on enjoying editing, waiting for inspiration, and then fully committing to albums, vs just trying to stay on schedule and get em out! It has been such a hard balance lately but I want to give MORE editing-wise, and I think my new turnaround time will give me that. Which in turn gives my clients more.

I freakin did it

This beautiful creation tested me in every way possible. But I did it and I did it well! The coffin is done now, and all that needs to be done is actual staging, which will happen prior to sessions! I will try to get better pictures of it tomorrow! But I literally just finished it right before leaving for a session!!

I might just quit my day job

So I had become increasingly frustrated with the idea that I was not going to be able to create a buttoned look that you would see on a lot of vintage velvet couches! So my crazy self decided to cut up the extra trim we had and turn them into wooden buttons, wrap them in velvet, staple them, and then pin nail them into the coffin to give the button look!!! I’m hype!
