2025-04-23 18:20:04 +0000 UTCI watched that movie when I was young, and I was unreasonably mad at telepathy being called ESP. ESP, to me, was like what Peter Hurkos and those people did, where you can remote view or get information you couldn't possibly know. So you spend all your time trying to solve murders or asking people if they have a relative with an 'r' in their name. And you guys were bang-on about Disney expecting this to be a big property. They sold kids' books, records, the whole shebang, expecting similar merchandising to Star Wars. Didn't happen. We weren't ready.
