Added 2023-03-19 22:53:41 +0000 UTCGlory to Badgelor, my favorite little rabid snacker. He's always fun to write for, especially when I get to have him suplex something. Of course, Kaiju Badgelor's suplexes are world shaking, but that's what you get in the 8th book in a series.
Now I'm off to getting more of the third act setup. Its going to be a healthy length, and I've finished the first third. The second third is the rising action, where I get to setup the proper amount of tension for the final battle.
So far I'm really liking the book, I've found out a few new points about my characters and finally get to reveal what Jim's Falconian title is. Life is good. I should be done in 2-4 weeks.
That's the first draft, don't get your hopes up. I'll be chewing on this one for months after the first draft is completed.

We will get chapters after I get the first pass done. There will be 'structural' issues in the first pass so the copy there needs substantial work. I'll do chapters after I go through it the first time seriously and sand off the rough bits. Or less politely, my first drafts are terrible. Jim is straight man. Shart says a lot of 'I should say something funny here' and badglor says 'angry something' a lot. (I add in jokes last).
