Or, why aren't you working on noobtown?

Writer's block mainly. I have a beginning (done), a middle (done, and an end (working on it) but the connective tissues between the middle and the end were annoying the crap out of me so I slowed down to a crawl trying to get them in and up to standard.

So I stopped. I'm taking 2 weeks off of noobtown and working on another project which brings me to the 10k a day challenge.

Basically, a writers group I was in said that by significantly upping volume, you can increase your overall weekly word count so you should strive for a goal like 10k a day to get your production up.

Since I need to write Sword of Justice anyway, I figured I'd use that as the test project. It needs to be 120k words, it is currenly 40k words. I'm going to finish it in the next 2 weeks or die trying.

It is supposed to reinvigorate my desire to write and keep me at a higher word count in the future. No so sure about that, but it is blowing the rust off of several mental processes and I'm discovering that I can still write like I did when I wrote Mayor.

Mayor took me about 2 weeks to finish. That's it. I've never been able to write that fast since, until now. Hopefully I can keep up this pace, so far so good.

So expect the first draft of this to be done in 8 more writing days (M-S) Sunday is your rest day.
