Maternity

For me, the easiest thing to photograph on the planet is a pregnant person.

Maternity is magic to me, ever since I started photography back in 2017-2018 I have always gravitated towards it. It is by far my favorite thing to photograph, along with boudoir! So when the two come together, my soul sings.

It is wild to me to be photographing Kila again! The first time we worked together was back in 2020 for her first baby!

This was a super fun edit for me, with lifestyle I typically underexpose (darker shot) to keep things like sky details and highlights on the skin! It can also help with details of water, rain, or anything that has light coming from it, or reflecting it!

Hey friends, I feel like life is when you put your sims to sleep and time moves in hyper speed, but it is like that even during the day for me lately. I am also battling PPD, which snuck up on me this time! Thought I was in the clear, but guess I was wrong!

Weather wtf.

I swear y'all, every time I have had a milk bath this year the weather is horrid! We have had overcast days and it's so chilly! I have been making my husband put buckets of very hot water in the tub to help keep the models from freezing to death! I typically have cold water in the tub but the warm weather makes it tolerable, but the month of May has been wild weather wise!

Before & After

Some before & after action for you all today! I used photoshop and Greater Than Gatsby presets/tools to achieve this look! It took about 4-5 minutes and was a lot of fun, I then imported into Lightroom to do a few touch ups. Like brighten the baby's eyes, drop some highlight's, and remove any blemishes! 

Total editing time: 6 minutes
