I'm still having these weekly chats, but I'm gathering that might be too frequent due to the low attendance and my frequent visits to the discord server. Generally, I'll respond to anything on Discord in 24 hours or less.
I'm debating switching them to bi weekly or even monthly, while still staying on the discord server most of the time.
Thoughts?
Edit:
Whelp, I had 5 people on so it continues to be ...

I've been writing and I'm going to be honest, its hard to keep a long scene going with 5+ characters in it. It's easy to write simple dialogue that fits anyone, but when you are trying to write something that has that distinctive 'Sir Dalton' feel, you have to do a better job.
For example, let's say there was a ball on the ground in their path.
Zorlando would say something like, "I Zorlando have found a ball!"

I am over 60k words and have finished, more or less, act one of Book 6. I have to write a huge fight scene, but I'll kick that out as soon as I get in the mood to write 'combat'.
Writing an entertaining fight scene is one of the more challenging bits about writing a book. It's sort of like juggling, you need to have a certain number of balls in the air, or it's not interesting, but having that many balls in the air complicat...

I, for one, am thrilled. In my head, I always hear one character speaking with the new narrator's voice.

Or how do you figure out what to write.
There are two major 'types' of writers. You have the Architects who carefully plan everything out from day one with detailed notes and outlines on one hand. On the other you have gardeners who plant the seeds of the story and see what develops.
Of course, most authors slip very frequently between the two. We also tend to favor one over the other.

The worst part of writing is having ideas that you know you want to type out but they aren't translating well to the page. I'm up to 35k words on book 6. My goal is 120k words, but I'll probably overshoot that.
Thankfully I've gotten over the worst bit for now and am now chugging away. Given the way I write, I won't be releasing any chapters soon. I'm a heavy revisionist style author, meaning I go bac...

As you know, Noobtown is published on Amazon and is part of the Kindle Unlimited program. They are becoming more stringent about the exclusivity rules so any chapters I post on RELEASED content will be removed.
I will still be providing sample chapters from time to time, however you can expect them to be removed prior to the release of the book those chapters are found in.

Well, it seems to me that I have an opportunity with Nautical Noobs. How many badger related sea shanties can I muster. So far I have:
What can you do with a drunken badger?
Hey there that badger has come (to bring us violence, pain and gum...)
Note: Badgelor came to kick butt and chew bubblegum... he forgot the gum)
There once was a badger name Badgelor, who wen...

So, I should have done this last year, but I was always too busy writing. I never got around to setting up the page. That said, I have finally spent the time and got my official author Patreon page set up. Now, whenever anyone asks if I have one, I can say yes.
More importantly, I'm on the final drips and drabs of finishing Noobtown Book 5, which should finally be out in February. Just a pro tip for future ...
