NEW CATGIRLS

Here is an early look at 2 new cat girls who will be appearing together as a duo. They'll be part of an upcoming fuzzy / kemono parallel event, and we're excited to bring these two fine felines to life. We settled on cat maid cafe as their theme, so you'll notice they're wearing cute maid style dresses. We're tentatively calling them Ginger & Wasabi, as suggested by our superfans!

2023 Recap

...and just like that, 2023 is a wrap! I like putting these end of year recaps together because it's a really cool visual for showing some of the major stuff we worked on. It doesn't include sales, backend improvements or anything outside of the games but it's still a TON of stuff. Looking forward to what we'll release in the new year!

These are the hi-res images and sketches from the strip game Peanut played on Crush Crush's Twitter! Each post let people vote on which piece of clothing would be removed next. It was a fun challenge, and I got to collaborate with one of our newer artists on this one. She and I both had lots of fun trying to come up with flirty poses for this adorkable nut.

Even More Art Tests

Here's one more round of art tests with a girl I actually hired a few months ago. Her art test was: "Create a new pose of Cassie, matching the Crush Crush style" and "Design a new boy for Blush Blush". I think she did a decent job matching our style and I love how expressive and dynamic her poses are, so it all worked out. You can see our critiques in red.

This is a new character concept for an upcoming Parallel Event (a University themed one) and she's an adorable cheerleader! We don't have any open roles on that team so I challenged her with some Crush Crush art tests instead. Basically I said "design a new character, any you think would fit in". I think she did a good job, however they still felt like a different style than what we have in Crush Crush. I'm curious what you all think though?

Cassia was our first Spooky Event reward character and holds a special place in our hearts. Her design is inspired by Egyptian mummies, so we referenced old anime like Mummies Alive and YuGiOh and of course Ankha from Animal Crossing. We started with the SFW design first and then removed layers to land on a good NSFW version of that outfit. Do you think it was the right amount? Or should we have removed more clothing?

Something familiar... something new...

After reading many player support emails and forum threads on Steam asking for this, we have decided to move forward with a new 'glow up' direction for Ayano (soon to be renamed Ayeka).
