Hush Hush Animation Composite (test)

Testing how how we can put together one of the revised (newly animated!) scenes for Hush Hush's new opening/game trailer. The camera pan won't last as long as it does in this preview, just wanted to test it and share the whole scene :) The composite was put together in Unity just to test out particles - we'll probably use something meant for video editing in the end, like Premiere or After Effects.

BurBur has been helping with the Phone illustrations you can discover in Hush Hush. Each girl has a set, and I'm really happy that Quill's art is wrapping up now. So I turned one of those images (Quill trying to pose on the bed) into a wallpaper ^^

Hush Hush Elle Dress animation

We're still working on animations for the updated Intro/Trailer to Hush Hush... I'm happy the shadows and gradients are working out. It's hard to sync them up for looping animations! 

Peanut Date Sketch

Here's a sneak peek at one of Peanut's date images. I don't wanna share too much before she comes out, because some people enjoy seeing it for the first time in game.  Azayuki (the artist who made these) has been helping us with her art, and it's looking gorgeous!!

Peanut's coming soon! Since she won the Fling voting poll we've been hard at work getting her dialogue and art ready... The concepts you see above are very WIP (work in progress) so her face/eyes will undergo changes when I fix up the final art. Nina - Oktoberfest outfit designs

This was a last minute idea to do something for 'Oktoberfest' so I'm going to quickly draw a new outfit for Nina, based on one of these designs. Let me know which one you like best :) It'll help me out - I haven't started yet, but I need to soon. Let's say the far left one is 1 and the far right one is 9.

Hush Hush Spoilers

This is meant to be a tiny thumbnail, since there are lots of spoilery things in here... but I just wanted to share a sneak peek at some of the awesome art that is being made for our Hush Hush CGs!  This game looks so flippin gooooood!! And there are tons more CGs and animations being worked on :") I'm so happy.

Upcoming Character for Halloween

Coming soon is this seductress, Vellatrix. I'm working on her now with one of our outsourced artists Noboru. Her first concepts were shared back in March in this post. Noboru did an awesome job taking my feedback and making a mysterious dark/smexy witch character. We're going in a 'gender-bent Snape/Dumbledore' direction with her, so I hope people will like...

Sirina Design Explorations

Sirina is coming out soon! It's time I can start sharing the design work for her :) These were the early concepts YukiLumino and I collab'd on. We wanted something similar to Alpha with the whole futuristic/tech kinda vibe, so she has computer motifs on her outfit. She's a spunky/upbeat girl so I decided design #3 suited her best. You'll get to meet her soon since her event is starting this week :O

Hush Hush UI progress

This might be a boring post but I wanted to share some of the goings-on with Hush Hush. I was working on the UI and userflow stuff when a studio that specializes in design/UI approached me to help out. I'm giving them a shot but I am not sure if they're really hitting it quite right. English isn't their main language so maybe they're not understanding my feedback, but in any case I wanted to share what they got and compare it to some of my old...

Hush Hush Animation - Cassie (rough)

Been busy working on lots of animations for the Hush Hush opening / redo... Cassie's hair is a lot of work but the end result looks pretty good!

(NSFW) Shibuki nude & lingerie

Her lingerie is very silky/satin looking. I am curious how many people prefer this 'covered up' lingerie, that leaves more to the imagination VS the see-through/ 'show more' type of lingerie. 

Shibuki Poses

Shibuki was such a fun character to collab on. The idea of having a ninja in pink is just so funny to me.  For those who don't have Shibuki's outfits yet, this might be a spoiler. Her wedding dress colors are so pretty but you know she can still kick ass while wearing this.  For her bathing suit, she does wear this outfit for her Beach date so it's less spoiler-y.

Shibuki - Copics

Today I felt like doodling our newest gal, Shibuki. So I broke out the copic markers and made a lil pic. Her hair isn't as dark as I'd like it to be, since my copic collection is pretty limited... but I still think it turned out OK.

Store is live!

I've never made a Shopify account before... but I think it's all good and running now, so I wanted to shared it with you awesome Patrons first before I share it with the rest of the world. It's got the Mio and Quill plushies, and some other goodies if you missed out on the Kickstarter swag. Eventually I'll be adding Mio figures to the store once we've got our final count of leftovers/discounted ones. Yaaay!

Hush Hush Animation - Bird (rough)

This is a rough animation of a bird that will appear sometimes outside Elle's house. It's nice to add ambient effects and animations. We're trying to include lots of things like this, it  adds so much polish to the game.

Animation Frame-rate comparison

I'm OCD... I think the one on the right (animated on 4s) is the way to go. It's more in line with how anime animates. Disney is usually on 1s or 2s, so the animation on the left just looks too fluid/smooth to me. What do you think?
