Stopping to take a seat on a series of mounds in a wooded glade, I had a good view over to the busier footpath. As I sat there, a few people meandered past, some lost in their own world, a couple glancing over and smiling. The greenery likely hid my full nudity, but perhaps one or two had an idea at how far I was going with my relaxing and were happy to see someone just taking time to enjoy nature.

I love seeing images of naked figures in nature, but there's something even more special about adding footwear and a rucksack. It suggests a functional normality to the experience — yes I want to wear footwear to protect my feet from thorns and nettles, yes I want to carry a rucksack for my belongings and drinks; but no, I don't need to wear boxers because here, I just don't!
