I actually draw these strips like three months in advance. The snow can only be explained as wishful thinking ๐

The normal โwarmโ air from the southeast off the Atlantic and powered by the Gulf Stream (which is why we donโt get much snow compared to Canada and north USA) when we are at similar latitudes. Plus thereโs a cold system coming around from Siberia and the NE. Where the two meat means a lot of rainโฆ and where cold enough snow.

2021-12-22 15:16:50 +0000 UTCWhatโs with the snow and Christmas association anyway? Thereโs not much of the world that has snow then, especially parts which celebrate Christmas. Northern continental America. Central Europe especially around the mountainous regions and northern Scandinavia and a lot of Russia. Fun (and somewhat bizarre) fact: over here in the UK itโs statistically more likely to snow on Easter Sunday than Christmas Day.
