As for your question GK Iโd say both routes are decent and will have their pros and cons but for a live performance type thing Iโd imagine that Ableton will be more flexible and customisable to what you need. That said, Iโd recommend asking this question on somewhere like Reddit, in a specific subreddit for each bits of the equipment youโre thinking about and seeing if current users could answer your question better โ๏ธ๐ค
