I can finally share the work I did for a project with Upper Deck and Marvel some months ago 🥰!! The process was pretty fun cause they asked me to do original drawings on tiny cards that they physically send to artists and once they are done, they need to be returned. Then Upper Deck sells packages with tons of different collectible cards and there're a lot of chances you can get an special and unique hand-drawn card by a random artist. That's cool!

The best part was that I could choose the characters I wanted to draw, as long as they were not banned for some reason (they provide a huge list of characters you cannot draw, probably for license issues) except for the double cards, because those come with names already printed on them, like the Hulk or Deadpool ones.

The Guardians of the Galaxy cards were actually a 'puzzle' of 4 single cards, it was my favorite to paint !

For reference, their size is 2.5” x 3.5”, so sometimes it's really hard to make dynamic poses in such tiny space 😅 I used watercolors and Copic markers for all of them. I like how they look all together!
