Ponyo gouache study // preview πΏπ

The people at Etchr Lab were nice enough to send me one of their sketchbooks to try out some weeks ago, so yesterday I decided to grab my jelly gouache and do a new Ghibli study using it!
It was scary at first because the sketchbook is size A4, landscape format and I never painted with only gouache on such a big canvas but it was fun! I recorded the whole thing *yay!* so I'll be back with the process in the next few days.
The paper is sooo nice, I chose a hot pressed sketchbook and I'm glad I did, I love textured paper but sometimes it gives me such a hard time when painting, so I'm very happy with this smooth, light grainy paper :D
Anyways, I have a doctor appointment now so I'll be posting these on my IG tomorrow!
