Firewood is done. Just got an old fuel barrel and topped it off with diesel. Just scored small rifle primers and an 8lb of CFE 223. Got 4 deer all butchered and put back. 2 teenage boys in the house so still on the hunt for 2 or 3 more. Pressure canned 30 or so qts of shelf stable meat. Gonna start getting cold here in WI soon. Got the last of the garden put to bed today. Going to try growing tomatoes indoors this winter in the basement under a grow lamp.

Been adjusting gear for the season already. Adding winter survival gear and layers. Switched from a jet boil to the Esbit stove due to elevation and cold temperatures. Getting overwhites ready, working on snow helmet covers. Remember to leave a little room for extra layers coming off in your pack.
