good video. my old army unit had 7.62 mini guns with ir lasers under nvg. my whole mil service I shot iron sights. About 2 years after I retired I got back into shooting. I learned what works for me and my limitations. most I got my lr 308 or bolt 308 was 800 yards. I'm not an excellent shooter, so I got 300 win mag to go 1000 yards. that's the farthest out range we have here. I'm good for 1.5 MOA , at 1000 yards and for me considering I wear bifocals , looking through a scope I'm happy. close enough for a 2 legged critter at 1000 yards in the thoracic region. my sub moa rifles include a ruger rpr 22 lr, a 223 bolt savage on a MDT chassis and my savage bolt 308 but only out to 800 yards. As far as DOPE I write down my rifle scope settings for each specific type of ammo with different grain tips suppressed or not and environmental. when I bring my 50 bmg out to shoot its more for fun and sharing. I'm a medical person first .
