Very true, that is one reason why I had them send me composite toe boots. I would prefer no safety toe, but they don't offer any.

Steel toes have their place but certainly not around horses or cows or other large animals. One good stomp to the foot and those steel toes will actually cut your toes right off, at least with regular shoes/boots your foot may be mangled or crushed which is possible to recover from vs the alternative of these little piggies went to the morgue (also you need your big toes for balance......)
