Good call! Great job taking care of business

Good point. I should have mentioned that

Cool, thanks man and yes staying on top of maintenance is priority when you can afford to do so (even sometimes doing it in a budget modifying what you have with junkyard replacement parts--- been there doine that 👍 vehicles with new or newer parts get wrecked all the time) Just replaced my saggy worn out leaf springs and shocks on my 99 Tahoe today If anyone has worn out sagging leaf springs that bottom out or just wants to upgrade them I got mine from General Spring KC for $700 including shipping BUT that was leaf springs (made in house as far as I know) plus all 6 mounting bolts AND the shackles AND the ubolts. But here's the deal, the factory springs for my truck are rated 1650# but they also had a heavier duty set they offer so I ordered them upgraded 2200# springs. It rides firm but not horribly stiff and it sits a good couple few inches higher. After the suspension settles I'll crank up the front torsion bars to level it out. I CAN SAY the truck no longer sags or sways or leans in corners, I feel WAAAAY more confident on the road but I did also spring the few extra bucks (rock auto) for the KYB mono max shocks, those are pretty super great shocks.

Another thought for vehicles, if you can afford it, fill up when your tank hits the 1/2-way mark. We used to do that with our patrol vehicles in case there was a power outage or some other undefined issue. Came about during a severe storm and the area lost power. One of the officers had let his tank get down to about 1/8 and he didn't have a way to fuel it. Also, even with a preservative like Sta-Bil, 10% ethanol fuel will not last as long as non-ethanol fuel treated with Sta-Bil. Just some thoughts.
