It's indicative of a bigger problem where young people (esp. young artists) are expected to essentially work under extremely poor conditions for no money as a stepping stone to build credentials. Also, my mom had a gum graft done lol. She only drank milkshakes for like a week and then could only eat mashed potatoes.
