I'm considering going to clown school

Hello fellow, beloved, venerable owners,

It is I, your favorite rat. I had an interview with a professional, elite performance clown last week. I just found out that I passed the interview and he said he would put me on the waitlist to get into his course when it runs next.

I have been debating doing my masters for like 5 years now, basically every winter I'm like...should I? But it never feels right to me. I think because what I really want is to become a better performer. I never went to performance art school, took acting classes, or was in any high school plays. In fact, I only started doing performance in my last year of university. I've been really struggling with my limitations lately specifically with movement. I rely on tropes and movements I've seen before in order to animate my characters, it doesn't come naturally to me. I've never taken dance classes before so movement too is still pretty intimidating. I really want to get better at this and I wonder if performance clown school can help me.

I won't stop making videos if I do this course, in fact, I think it will cause me to do some very weird things with video. Anyways, I just wanted to share some of my clown-yearning feelings with you all!

Here's a music video I just discovered called "Coin-operated Boy" which I am completely obsessed with!! I think the singer has so much poise and her movements seem so incredibly cartoonish and unique. I really aspire to move like this in the future!
