Lolz, Mortius my manโฆ. The first time I listened to that I found myself holding my breath and by the time the violin vanished, I had tears running down my face. My first thoughtโฆโThis will fโn END Mortiusโ. I expected you to end up on the floor; the only surprise there was that you managed to get back up. But you have company. This has broken every reactor Iโve watched. One dude who is known for a detailed recap after the song just sat there for a few seconds, shook his head, got up and left. There were two (so far) metal-head reactors who had their minds blown too. Thereโs more emotional impact in the last minute of that song than in any two hundred top tens ever. Also: Note to your editor who stuck a question about Layne in there: Yes, Layne is a classically trained violinist who has been playing since grade school. Yes, he knows what heโs doing and yes, that recording is of him playing. Mortius, did you miss the Warriors video along the way? โCause Layne isnโt the only violin player in the line up there. Youโll see two in that video. ๐ (Abd Iโm willing to bet youโre first guess for the other player is wrong. Prob your second guess too, lol) I wonโt say more - donโt want to spoil it, but you and your editor both need to go watch that one. Oh, and the only cure Iโve found for the feels this song gives is to listen to it a few hundred times. Somewhere around a hundred or so I made it through without the tears.

2023-01-18 22:12:17 +0000 UTCThis was amazing Mortius. I was the in a pure state of awe when I first watched it too; still am really. Oh and as a side note on Layneโs violin playing. He does actually play. In the behind the scenes, they kept making him shift his posture due to the angle they were filming.
