This movie is the pinnacle for cinematography and what an inspiration for movie making but not only that medium. Every medium that involves art. It made me want to start writing I kid you not!
I heard you! I really did and because you were that vocal, I've now discovered my favourite movie when it comes to visual eye candy. It will never beat my favourite film of all time but it's up there!
As someone said yesterday, Play The Damn Tape and enjoy this 3 hour monster. It's an honour to hang out with you guys, thank you.

I know I'm late to the party(in more ways than one), but I also never saw this movie because of Patterson. Watching this was the first time. And man, do I regret that. I was absolutely enthralled in the cinematography. So much so that I zoned out from anything that was being said. And then was brought back by "I've got a fucking nipple erection off this." lmao This really feels like a FILM film, if that makes sense. And I can't help but gush over it as well. Reminds me a lot of classic 80s films. Like there's... texture? Not everything is smooth, which is all modern films look like. EDIT: okay you even mention it, my bad. I was just so excited to share my own feelings before I saw that part haha

Bruce's character arc of realizing that anger and fear aren't enough to change anything, and he has to become an actual hero is done SO WELL. Also, his realization that his upbringing has clouded his view of things. Selina specifically calls this out, but he also needed someone from a working class background to recognize the tool to get the last clue.

It hits so hard hearing that old woman say that it already happened and the firefighters rushing upstairs. Great lighting, maybe the greatest in any super hero movie.
