Late-to-the-party, in episode 2 during the fight there's a moment where we see a small crowd of people reacting to the fight, I think three of them were also FT characters, one was Warren the wizard who uses telepathy, one looked like Max the sand wizard, and there was a woman who looked like the wizard from mermaid heel, the chubby one.

2022-01-29 15:28:55 +0000 UTCThe Netflix doesn't has all the episodes, it has only 12? But the current anime is at 20. So it might be better to switch the source, then again the Netflix might add on the episodes like they do on My Hero Academia, since you haven't made a schedule for it. Hope you enjoy this show cuz it's totally fun to watch!!

2021-08-29 07:22:54 +0000 UTCI think you'll really enjoy EZ. It helps that the animation is better than FT for the most part. I love EZ not as much as FT probably but the story and the characters are really cool. Also keep an eye out there will definetly be more cameos from Hiro's other works.

2021-08-27 22:48:21 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! I'm so glad you're enjoying the series and the show only gets better and better. About the character similarities, Hiro Mashima has always reused character designs/concepts from his previous works. For example, there's a Jellal type character in Rave and FT, Plue is originally from Rave, there is an Oracion Seis in both Rave and FT, and many other examples. I guess it's just something he likes to do and I personally don't really find issue with them because the characters he "reuses" are never the exact same character.

2021-08-27 06:20:25 +0000 UTCThe reason Happy is there, is because Mashima wanted to have a mascot on the first chapter/episode. But he couldnโt figure out how to put the new mascot (which youโll meet soon), in the first chapter, so Happy took that spot for a little while. Heโs not as much in the spotlight as in FT

2021-08-27 04:45:13 +0000 UTCThey did the same thing with Plue going from Rave to Fairy Tail. No explanation. Same exact character design, different character.
