Village (WIP)

Sorry for a bit delayed showcase related to this but I had to focus on few early access trailer stuff (like custom music) which need to be started quite early.
Here's work-in-progress view of the overhauled Village map. This obviously is still missing a bunch of stuff and all the secondary level details but you can probably see from these screenshots how the map is changed.
Main goal for this map as a starting map is to provide a "hub" feeling so you can choose multiple different initial routes, meaning transitions to map.
Main change for this overhaul is that now player starts at the bottom left corner of the map (Cabin Shelter) and map will be connected to 4 other maps. Also now there's much more curved roads, elevation for housing, train track which is there IRL etc.
I will share more updated screenshots shortly and highlight more close up images how the map is changed.
ps. I will share you the magazine system mini dev build for testing tonight :)

I can already see similarities whit Unity version of Village

2025-08-10 08:14:05 +0000 UTCCareful when crossing those train tracks. Accidents might happen^^ I can already see myself attempt to jump across the train tracks using the boat. Thanks for the WIP insights!
