October Events & Final Demo

Hi! Here's some additional information related to upcoming events and final demo.

Oct 2. - Next Fest Press Preview (Build 1)
I will participate for press preview related to upcoming Steam Next Fest event. This press preview is optional and requires a public build of the demo, so I will share an "early release" final demo build (Build 1) for this and you can test this build also.

This build will override all existing demo files / saves, "legacy" demo won't be available after this.

Oct 6. - Finnish Games Week: Steam Event starts (Build 1)
FGW: Steam Event is a curated promotion for Finnish games and connected to a multi-conference and a week-long series of game industry events taking place in Helsinki, Finland.

I will participate to this event with the Next Fest press preview build (Build 1).

Oct 13. - Final Demo (Youtube video)
I will make a dedicated YT-video about the final demo, covering all the new features and highlighting some "nice-to-know" things about the Next Fest and what to expect from the early access compared to the this final demo.

Oct 13. - Next Fest starts (Build 2)
Based on the feedback and bug reports from press preview build (Build 1), I will release a more polished Next Fest build (Build 2) for the actual event.

In terms of existing files / saves, Next Fest build (Build 2) will be compatible, so you can continue where you left with if you already tested press preview build (Build 1).

Oct 23. - Demo Post Mortem (Livestream)
Post Mortem in game development slang means analysis that covers what went right and wrong.

There will be a Youtube livestream where I will be playing the final demo and talking about all things related to the demo experience vs. upcoming early access.

Oct 31. - Demo Lockdown
When October ends, I will transition back to the early access development (commercial branch) and there will not be any more demo updates after this, so the current demo build will remain like it is until early access launches.

If you are interested about modding and playing around with these new systems, this is the point where I don't make any more demo changes and things will be stable until early access.
