I visited a hidden hot spring in Chiba Prefecture.

千葉県にある秘湯温泉に行ってきました♨️

This is a place called Nomizo Onsen located in Kimitsu City.

Until now, I had the impression that Chiba Prefecture was a resort area and did not have the image of having hot springs, but I learned that there are several hot spring resorts in the mountains.

Since there are no volcanoes in Chiba Prefecture, most of the hot springs are mineral springs and must be heated.

Because of the cost of fuel, bathing fees are a little more expensive than in other parts of Japan, such as the Tohoku region (800-1000 yen per adult).

君津市にある濃溝温泉という場所です。

今まで、千葉県はリゾートな印象があり、温泉があるというイメージがありませんでしたが、山の方に入ると温泉地が何軒かありことを知りました。

千葉県には火山がないため、ほとんどが鉱泉で加温が必須なようです。

燃料代もかかるため、入浴料は東北などと比べて少し割高です。（大人一人800〜1000円程）

The hot spring is a natural hot spring that gushes out naturally from the Sasagawa riverbed, and is not watered, circulated, filtered, or disinfected.

濃溝温泉 千寿の湯もまた、笹川の河川敷から自噴する天然温泉で、加水・循環濾過・消毒は一切おこなっていない、加温のみの源泉掛け流し温泉です。

The spring is a bicarbonate-soda spring, which is a rare type of spring, and has a beautiful amber color.

It does not bubble up to the body, but the smooth water is popular as a hot spring for beautiful skin.

泉質は重炭酸ソーダ泉という珍しい泉質で、琥珀色の綺麗な色をしており、体に泡がつくまではなりませんが、なめらかなお湯で美肌の湯として人気です。

There is one square bathtub for each gender and one large window with a view.

They say that at dusk, sunlight shines into the bathrooms and shines beautifully.

Also, the windows looked out over the valley of the Sasagawa River, as if one were looking at a painting of nature.

浴槽は男女それぞれに四角い浴槽がひとつと景色が眺められる大きな窓がひとつ。

夕暮れ時には太陽の光が浴室に差し込み、綺麗に輝くそうです。

また、窓からは笹川の渓谷を眺めることができ、自然の絵画を見ているようでした。

The rest rooms are spacious and relaxing.

休憩室も広々としていて、ゆっくりできそうです。

There was a power spot-like place called Turtle Rock Cave nearby, so I went there.

すぐ近くに亀岩の洞窟というパワースポットのような場所があったので行ってみました。

There is also a walking trail next to it, where fireflies can be seen in May.

隣には遊歩道もあり、5月には蛍が見られるようです。
