今回は、由布院温泉〜別府温泉へ行ってきました！

街中に湯煙が立ち、さすがはおんせん県です♨️

温泉好きには堪らない夢のような場所でした。

別府三大秘湯と言われる隠れた秘湯温泉にもチャレンジしました。

1人でも多くの方に観ていただけると嬉しいです💛

This time I went to Yufuin Onsen - Beppu Onsen!

The town was filled with the smoke of hot spring water, and it really is a hot spring prefecture. ♨️

It was a dream come true for hot spring lovers.

I also tried one of Beppu's three hidden hot springs, known as the "three hidden hot springs".

I hope as many people as possible will watch💛

九州へ到着してから11日目。

私は大分県由布市にある由布院温泉に来ています。

Since my arrival in Kyushu, this is the 11th day.

I am here at Yufuin Onsen in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture.

由布院温泉は、湧出量・源泉数ともに日本全国２位を誇る人気の温泉地です。

そんな由布院温泉の地元の名泉「加勢温泉共同浴場」へ行ってきました。

明治14年に建築された湯布院で最も古い公衆浴場だそうです。

Yufuin Onsen is a popular hot spring resort that boasts the second largest number of hot springs in Japan in terms of both the amount of water gushing out and the number of springs.

I visited Kasei Onsen Public Bathhouse, a famous local hot spring in Yufuin Onsen.

It is said to be the oldest public bathhouse in Yufuin, built in 1881.

「早く汗を流したい。」

入浴料100円をお支払いし、早速中へ。

"I want to sweat it out as soon as possible."

I pay 100 yen for the bath and go in.

こちらが脱衣所です。

タイムスリップしたような味のある雰囲気です。

This is the changing room.

The atmosphere is tasteful, like stepping back in time.

泉質はアルカリ性単純温泉です。

入浴時は少し熱め。水を入れてちょうど良くなりました。

最高に気持ちよかったです😊

The spring is a simple alkaline hot spring.

It is a little hot when you take a bath. I added water and it was fine.

It felt great 😊.

翌朝、ずっと行きたかった別府市を目指します！

The next morning, I left for Beppu City, which I had always wanted to visit!

The photo was taken from Jumonjibaru Observatory on the way to Beppu City from Yufu City.

大分県別府市に到着しました。

可愛いマンホールを見つけたので載せておきます。

I arrived in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.

I found a cute manhole.

最初に向かったのは、別府市鶴見にある別府3大秘湯とも呼ばれる野湯。

鍋山の湯という秘湯へ行ってきました。

入り口には立ち入り禁止の看板があり、誰かの私有地の場所かと思います。

最初は躊躇いましたが、車が数台止まっていたので、中へ入ってみました。

５分ほど奥へ進むと温泉を発見。

１組入浴しておられたので、一緒に混浴させていただきました。

The first destination was a hidden hot spring in Tsurumi, Beppu City, which is also known as one of the three best-kept secret hot springs in Beppu.

I went to a hidden hot spring called Nabeshiyama-no-yu.

At the entrance, I thought it was someone's private property because there was a "No Entry" sign.

I hesitated at first, but there were a few cars parked there, so I went inside.

After about five minutes of walking, I found a hot spring.

A couple was bathing, so I took a mixed bath with them.

周りに柵などはなく、開放的な露天風呂です。

２段の広めの岩風呂があり、私は下段のぬるい方に浸かっていました。

It is an open air bath with no fences around it.

There are two levels of spacious rock baths, and I soaked in the lukewarm one on the lower level.

人気なようで、帰る頃には４組ほどの入浴客が来ていました。

訪れる際には日中の明るい時間に行くことをお勧めします😌

It seems to be very popular and when I left there were about 4 groups of bathers.

I recommend going during the day if you visit 😌

次も別府3大秘湯の一つ「鶴の湯」へ行ってきました。

鶴見霊園という霊園を抜けると、温泉へたどり着きます。

こちらは脱衣所もあり、全体的に綺麗に管理されている様子でした。

Next, I went to Tsuru no Yu, another of the three best-kept secret hot springs in Beppu.

After passing through a cemetery called Tsurumi Cemetery, you reach the hot spring.

This one had a changing room and seemed generally clean and well maintained.

お湯は青みがかり透き通るような綺麗な色。

高温の源泉が川と共にかけ流しで流れています。

少し熱いですが、浅いのでちょうど良かったです。

The water is a beautiful, clear, bluish color.

The high temperature spring flows with the river.

It was a little hot, but it was just right because it was shallow.

訪れた時はとっても天気が良く、

直射日光を避けるため１０分ほど帽子を被りながら入浴しました。

The weather was very nice when I visited.

I bathed for about 10 minutes wearing a hat to avoid direct sunlight.

こちらも人気なようで、地元の方や近くの大学生も日常の温泉として入りにきていました。

「ここが毎日のお風呂なんてワイルドだな〜。」

朝から2カ所の温泉に浸かり、パワー全開！

別府温泉郷のひとつ鉄輪温泉を目指します。

This one also seemed to be popular, with locals and nearby college students coming to take it as their daily hot spring bath.

"It's crazy that this is my daily bath..."

Soaking in two hot springs in the morning, I was in full power!

Next, I went to Kannawa Onsen, one of the Beppu Onsenkyo hot spring resorts.

鉄輪温泉エリアを散策中、足蒸しを発見。

ずっとやってみたかった足蒸し。ここで出会えるなんて嬉しい。

しかも無料👏

While walking around the Kannawa hot spring area, I discovered foot steaming.

I always wanted to try foot steaming. I was so happy to find it here.

And it's free!

高温の蒸気の中に足を入れ、蒸気が逃げないように蓋をします。

「気持ちいい〜。」

足の疲れが一気にとれたような気がします。

The foot is placed in the hot steam and a lid is placed on the foot to prevent the steam from escaping.

It feels so good.

I feel as if all the fatigue in my feet has been taken away at once.

夜の別府へ。

別府駅周辺を散策します。

街のど真ん中に別府タワーを発見しました。

I go to Beppu at night.

I take a walk around Beppu Station.

I found the Beppu Tower in the middle of town.

別府駅周辺には「共同浴場（公衆浴場）」がたくさんあります！

さすが温泉天国。別府。

最初に入浴したのは北的ヶ浜温泉。

入浴料100円で入浴できます。

There are many "public bathhouses" around Beppu Station!

Beppu is truly a hot spring paradise.

The first one I visited was Kitatogahama Onsen.

You can take a bath for 100 yen.

お次は弓ヶ浜温泉。

こちらは入浴料200円。

熱湯で、一瞬浸かるだけでスカッとします。

Next is Yumigahama Onsen.

The entrance fee is 200 yen.

The water is boiling hot and even a short soak is refreshing.

周囲の民家と間違えてしまうような外観。

別府は温泉が町の一部になっている素敵な場所です。

The appearance could be mistaken for a surrounding private house.

Beppu is a wonderful place where hot springs are part of the city.

温泉に浸かった後はそのまま駅周辺をブラリ♨️

別府駅周辺はアーケード街が多く歩きやすいです。

After a bath in the hot springs, I had a walk around the station area. ♨️

The area around Beppu Station has many arcades and is easy to walk around.

レトロな映画館から。

From a retro movie theater.

ちょっとエッチな映画館まで。💛

都会とは違う活気を感じました。

To a slightly naughty movie theater. 💛

I felt a different vibrancy than in the city.

散策中、別府温泉の代名詞とも言われる竹瓦温泉を発見。

明治12年に創設された長い歴史を持つ名湯です。

温泉の熱で温められた熱い砂に蒸される「砂湯」で有名です。

While walking around, we discovered Takegawara Onsen, which is synonymous with Beppu Onsen.

Founded in 1877, it is a famous hot spring with a long history.

It is famous for its "Sunayu" (sand bath), where visitors are steamed in hot sand heated by the heat of the hot spring.

駅前高等温泉。

名前の通り、駅の目の前にも温泉がありました。

Ekimae Koto Onsen.

As the name suggests, there was a hot spring right in front of the station.

別府駅と温泉ポーズ♨️

「いつか別府に住んでみたい。」

という思いをさらに高めてくれました。

The trip to Beppu strengthened my desire to "live in Beppu" one day.

〆の久留米ラーメンへ来ました。

閉店間際にもかかわらず、店主さんは快く受け入れてくれました。

I came here to finish my meal with kurume ramen.

Even though the restaurant was about to close, the owner was willing to accommodate us.

あっさりとんこつラーメン。

たくさん歩いた後にこれは沁みます。

とっても美味しかったです🍜

Light tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen.

After a lot of walking, this is sinking in.

It was very tasty 🍜.

翌朝も北的ヶ浜温泉へ。

100円で極上温泉に浸かれる感動が忘れられず、リピートしてしまいました。

The next morning I went back to Kitategahama Onsen.

I could not forget the excitement of soaking in the wonderful hot spring for 100 yen, so I repeated my visit.

今日も気持ちよかった〜。

別府は働いている方々や住民の方々も優しく気さくに話しかけてくれました。

観光客も温泉が好きな人が多く、治安も良さそうです。

ほんとにいつか住んでみたいな。

Today was also pleasant!

The workers and residents of Beppu were nice and friendly.

Many tourists also like the hot springs, and it seems to be a safe place to live.

I really want to live there one day.
