Same! This is a satirical comedy first and foremost to me. It just so happens that season 1 was masterfully done by Madhouse. But it didn't make me want to watch the show more or less. The story itself did. I've already read the original, ORIGINAL webcomic by ONE. His art is chicken scratch, but the story and comedy are funny enough to where that chicken scratch actually adds to the comedy. 😂 Idk, I think folks are killing fun for themselves. Not saying they can't have complaints or constructive criticism, but it all seems real draining to me.

2025-10-28 17:24:24 +0000 UTCI'm really rooting hard for OPM s3 considering how hard people are being on the director and the whole production team. 😭 They literally chased Nagai off social media despite his best effort to be open and honest on twitter and talk with fans 😕 And this episode wasn't that bad! They did really great with the Garou fight (4:10-4:17 - this flying turn into a kick was flowy & smooth and the shot with Garou/monsters silhouetted against the sunset was lovely) and their following the source material panel for panel, 97~99% of the time. Like that whole part in Saitama's apartment is the same in the manga. The fight with the 2 dudes on the waterfall was definitely lacking. Some weird art and character modeling along with stiff animation. Could be outsourced, could be improved in a blu-ray release. *That slide from last episode was definitely diabolical and I'm still laughing about it 😂*

2025-10-27 05:30:10 +0000 UTCthey did super good with this episode this makes me a little relieved for the episodes to come but in all honesty i understand why people want good animation it looks wonderful but for someone like me i always looked at this as a comedic anime ye its a fighing anime aswell but i just mostly watch it for the comedy tbh the only thing that was bad looking was him sliding down the hill in episode 2 but other then that great episode in my opinion i just think people neeed more faith in the show. As always thanks for the reaction much love <3
