2025-11-03 02:39:23 +0000 UTCI love how it sets up SO hard the classic trope of the good guy coming back with one final burst of strength, but that's just not how it works here. Zanka is just plain out of the fight. He lost and no amount of emotional flashbacks is going to overpower that defeat. That fakeout was fantastic in the manga and I feel like they nailed it here too. We should be getting my favorite moment next week, so I am unbelievably hyped. They did make an interesting choice at the end of this episode to omit something at the very last page of the chapter they adapted, which has me curious if they'll drop it into the start of the next episode or skip it entirely. I'm kinda hoping they skip it, as it will make things even more exciting for new viewers. I have faith though, this is a strong adaptation.
