Small poll about future projects

So as some of you might remember, I am currently working on another project (Currently named Virus). It along with AUOBE is still priority, but as I have FINALLY finished the world building for Virus (or so I hope, for the past 2 weeks I kept changing stuff just because I can lol), I am looking to begin world building for another story, one that will be released in the 2nd half of 2025, (Virus will come out on RR in either January or February).
I have 4 ideas for a story, but out of them I selected 2 for you to vote for. Why? Because those ideas are close to my heart and I really want to see them come alive one day.
So here they are.
1. Working Title "Broken Realms": It would be a story that takes place about two thousand years after the collapse of the society as we know it. The realm of Earth combined with one other realm (almost destroying it in progress). At the same time a different realm would be connected to Earth via rifts. Multiple different races would live on Earth so wars would be quite common. Aside from that, it would of course be an LitRPG, and the story would show how a restarted Earth looks with pieces of the old world sprinkled into it. As for the plot, it wouldn't be like AUOBE where survival is only thing that matters. This story would focus more on exploration of the world, the MC's mysterious past, different realms, and the magic that now fills the Broken Realms. Important Tags: Fantasy, Magic, Post-Apo, LitRPG Progression.
2. Working Title, Don't have one yet: This story in contrast would begin about 200-300 years after and event that forced a much more advanced humanity to go under ground to avoid extinction thanks to alien invasion. The base idea is that every planet in the universe can grant their chosen race access to special energy and unique ability (Every race has a different unique ability but general use of the energy is the same). Here humans' ability would be a kind of magi-tech. Also there is more to planets granting special abilities but I will leave that for the future. So what to expect: Limited LitRPG (Mostly only to the MC and some others, it would be much different system than what you see in most stories), galactic wars, highly advanced magi-tech and other interesting abilities. Exploration of a universe filled with wars between races. And much more. Tags: Kinda post-apo, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Limited LitRPG, Progression
That's it. I know this is very vague and might not tell you much, but those are base ideas. I would like to hear which one you like more.

The second story sounds more Interesting Most because craft anything is always the best part of the story.

2024-12-16 03:52:48 +0000 UTCwhen i 1st read the new story title 'virus', my thinking of the story will be like the mc have organic virus that could infect people or monsters. I am now thinking how u will go 'virus' with in a more magitech fantacy. where most prevalent think is magic+technology.

2024-12-15 05:05:03 +0000 UTCThe premise of your first story reminds me a bit of Godclads, so I both really want to read it and am afraid of constantly comparing both stories lol. Though Godclads is unique enough that I don’t think there will be much overlap. Whichever one you write, I’ll read it because you’re the author, and they both sound fascinating: AUOBE has had some fascinating magitech so far, and I’d love to explore a setting where similar stuff is more prevalent, while your depth of writing would work really well with properly exploring the world in the Broken Realms. I’ll vote anyway though, if only to make the choice easier. The universe of the second story sounds fascinating, but I’m an absolute sucker for properly developed worlds and gradually putting puzzle pieces of past apocalypses together (especially in a more peaceful context), so it’s probably gonna be Broken Realms

But the unnamed story sounds more interesting to me right now, so I'm a bit more interested in that one. At the end of the day, I agree with the previous Nowem, write whatever you are interested in, don't burn yourself out, and have fun!

Humans would just have a much higher aptitude toward technology that can work with the energy given to them by their planet. And this energy isn't really like magic but more like aura from RWBY or Force from Star Wars but a bit more versatile and powerful. As for Broken Realms, yeah, it sounds a bit generic in the long run, but that's mostly because my description is lacking details. I just tried to give you guys a general idea and see what you think. This story would be more plot and character driven than setting driven (Though that doesn't mean that I won't put a lot of work into it. I love creating new words. That's my favorite part of writing.)

2024-12-15 01:51:21 +0000 UTCMagi-tech almost always devolves into "random bullshit go!" at some point into the story, and is just generally harder to write and world-build for, imo. Whereas Broken Realms sounds like something that could become generic really quick. In the end, I'm probably reading it anyways so write whatever most interests you. Just take your time and please don't write yourself into a burnout from trying to keep up with multiple stories simultaneously. I hope to continue reading your stories for a long time to come, after all.
