Comic Update & Future Plans

I've decided to bring the current comic to a close. There's been a noticeable lack of interest overall, and outside of a small group of readers, it feels like it's just not connecting. On top of that, working on it has become more stressful than fulfilling, especially since the passion behind it has faded.

Wimzy isn’t really a core part of my personal branding nor my creative identity. Most people recognize me more through my Snake Queen fursona, Croc, or Snep, and I feel like it makes more sense to focus on stories tied to my own lore and the characters people are most engaged with.

That said, I don’t want to leave the few who were invested in the Dragon with Benefits comic without closure. I’ll put together a document outlining where the story was going and what I had planned for it, if there's enough interest. I’ll run a poll to gauge that, and if people want it, I’ll share the full outline. I’m sorry if this comes as a surprise or is disappointing for some to hear.

Looking back, I realize I may have approached this project from the wrong angle. The biggest issue is that Wimzy was never positioned as a central part of my work, which led to marketing and promotional challenges. Most of my audience follows me for the 2D fursona art and comics with, some 3D stuff mixed in. Moving forward, you should expect more short comics focused on the Snep Queen and Snake Queen, rather than other OCs. There will also be less 2D art featuring the purple Croc, unless it's part of VR video material based on votes, since that character is no longer a main focus.

This shift should help me creatively. Because I’ve been wanting to work on merchandise centered around my Snow Leopard and Snake Queen fursonas. Ideas like; boob and butt mousepads, dakimakuras, keychains, and more stickers have been on my mind for a while, but I hadn’t followed through. Now, I finally have a clear direction for what I want to build next.

I also want to apologize for the frequent shifts in my creative direction here. I know it can be frustrating to see things change so often. As part of this transition, I’ll be temporarily retiring the $10 tier until new short comic content is ready to go.
