Experiment (...again)

This time I tried to take a stylized approach to a character. Using a stunning reference by @0nax9 on Instagram, I posed Kitana then manually sculpted her into desired figure. Though it's stylized, certain anatomy awareness were still required, else she would have turned into a nonsense mess.

I'm pretty satisfied with the body figure, but the head is still a bit uncanny because it is too formal, even though I've narrowed down her neck and jaw. I found out that doing some tiny bits of makeup on her brows and lashes in post-pro sort of helped, fortunately. Lastly, I manually masked and painted highlights on fitting areas (thighs, chest, forehead,...) in post-pro.

This is perhaps the weirdest thing I tried to experiment, I'll likely complete this as a set and release it early June. I'd probably do this style once in a long while, it does take a considerable amount of time to execute, that's why. What do you guys think?

Agreed on the hips part, they fit all the Edenian girls. The pose itself is interesting too, definitely something to explore in terms of "exotic" looks. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I agree. Styles do run on a spectrum from where it can be so subtle and linear to the original proportions, to the point where it can be โ€œegregiousโ€ as I experimented above ๐Ÿ˜„, I think the sweet spot would be just some touches beyond the original proportions as you mentioned, itโ€™d stay true to the character yet still add to some elements of charm.

While I don't mind it, I definitely prefer the natural "intended" so-to-speak, bodies and proportions of characters. Small edits like this where it's not too egregious is okay tho! The wider hips do suit Kitana
