it's been a while since i've done one of these huh? actually, when was the last time i really truly sat down to say thank you to everyone here? oops...
not that i'm not grateful of course! it just... i guess it never occurred to me to say thank you in any other way than fulfilling my purpose, the reason you guys stay subbed to this patreon - just pumping out new covers and filling you guys in whenever something crazy happened in life that caused me to stop.
well... i guess i've been pretty shitty at that too but, well, the point is, thank you guys so much for supporting me on patreon. i truly mean it when i say that unlike the guys over on youtube, you guys are like. 90% the reason why i can still make covers in this day and age, when doing things for fun takes a disproportionate amount more than it gives.
i'm genuinely thankful for each and every one of you that comments on the videos with #patronsquad, and those who always take the time to give feedback and criticism when my big ego threatens to take over hehe. thank you for helping me live out my little idol dreams since my university days where i had the free time to hang with you guys in call and do all sorts of crazy shenanigans. they were always the highlight of my day.
while i can't promise to make even more content this year because of my other obligations irl, i promise to give you guys a heads up when shit goes down.
anyway, i want to start this new year on the right foot!

I want to say that despite being barely older then me, your songs still feel like the songs of my childhood. I've been a listener and fan for a long time. And I love to hear you going strong with the music despite whatever little hiatuses there have been with the music. Especially among all the other YouTubers retiring now. Jesus, so many retiring. Iirc, I found you and Jubie at about the same time, around when drop pop candy released. Or at least, that's about what I first listened to. Ever since then, I've been a big fan. Anyway, I loved the Pokemon cover. I've listened to it so many times. So good. All I want are more songs from you. And more collabs too. And I love you staying independent and having control over your own brand, unlike nearly every other vtuber. It's very heartening. Owning your own image is so important. Also, any plushie merch around here? That's my favorite type of merch. (Can't promise to keep the Patreon sub up or anything. I'm already way overbooked on the Patreons I sub too. I spend way too much money a month on it, and yet I can't cover nearly as many creators as I'd like. Barely any, really, despite being subbed to so many. But I figure it would be good to at the very least pay once to be more than any ad viewer would've ever paid individually over their lifetime views.)

Your streams are fun to attend when my schedule allows for it. What mainly matters is that you are happy with what you end up doing. You have overworked yourself to the point of no longer enjoying it before and it would be a shame to have that happen again. Though, with that said, If you would make a cover of https://sp.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10544006 I would be extremely appreciative of it. It is a older song that never seemed to get much attention outside of Japan which is a true shame since it is my favorite from childhood.
