Funny story this week, aside from our sump pump exploding, I was hoping for a boring week. Nope, my lovely editor found a possible plot hole after one quick read that I'm moving to patch up before anyone notices. Thankfully, its not a serious issue with the overall structure, I just left a thread dangling pretty badly and that needs fixed prior to release. I know you guys all want shorter books, but this will probably add a chapter or two. Sorry.

Also, I started work on my first new series from Aethon Books, Fifth Era Apocalypse, One Bad Role. I'm already up to 18k words, and I'm actually enjoying the break from writing nothing but Noobtown for a time. That said, I miss Jim already so I'm going to be happy to get back to it in a few months.

Book 7 got from start to finish in only 14 weeks, which is a record for me. Further it was on schedule, which is something I hadn't considered possible. I'm hoping to get my window down to 12 weeks for the next book and we'll see how that progresses. 4 books a year sounds like fun, but I'm not sure how practical it is at this time.

Anyway, I'm back and writing. I expect to put another week or two into Noobtown 7 as it gets further into the editing process. I don't have an ETA for release yet, but probably some time in May/June.
