Journey To The West - Redesigns
Added 2020-10-09 18:24:57 +0000 UTCIf you've known me long enough, you'd know I created my own renditions of the iconic characters from Journey to the West <3 Sometime after my love for monkeys was fully established, I found out about Sun Wukong and my world exPLODED! Something about this story just settled with me, with Wukong being something of an inspiration. His character was gary stu as hell, but he was a fun one to learn about. I can't fully describe what about this sat with me so much as the actual canon text is difficult for me to tackle ( I'll read it all one day!!).
Either way, seeing the many, many renditions of these characters made me want to try my hand at it to years ago. I think just because it's a group of guys??? But yeah it's just... very much my interests and now that my love was recently revived, I designed to update them to my current liking! The order of the characters chinese and english names go from Left to Right:
Sun Wukong (AKA The Monkey King), Zhu Bajie (AKA Pigsy), Sha Wujing (AKA Sandy), Tang Sanzang (AKA Tripitaka), Bai Long Ma (... Dragon Horse. He doesn't have an english name lol)
