To answer your question Deadbug, I do believe our consciousness outlives our bodies' deaths. In a word, do I believe in heaven- yes.

DB, I have always struggled with the idea of Heaven and Hell. Too fairytale-ish for me i guess? Or maybe I have been through this before in a past life, and I 'know' it to not be true. idk? I do however believe in spirits, or souls. I have always gravitated towards reincarnation. It makes more sense to me. Then, when my only brother unexpectedly passed away due to a tragic traffic incident he caused when blacking out during a diabetic episode. He was 'with me' for 2 weeks. I can't explain it. It was a feeling. I could sense him with me. Obviously, I was torn up with grief. He was only 35yrs old. We were super close our entire lives. That night I learned he had died, I started smoking cigs, weed, drinking alcohol, anything to numb the pain. About 2 wks after he passed, I was stoned, probably drunk, and half asleep. He visited me. He appeared to be laying next to me in bed. I was alone. It was surreal, the energy that I could feel surrounding me. I wasn't scared, I was calm. The feeling was electric. I was very aware. Aware that I was kinda out of it, aware that he was 'there', and I could hear him. It was LOUD, a very loud and electric like noise coming from his mouth. I could tell he was trying to tell me something. Almost an urgent message he wanted to relay. Sadly, I couldn't understand him. I asked him to come back later when I could better receive his message. And after that, he melted away. Like dry ice 'fog', just melted off the bed and was gone. I wrote all of this down immediately, not wanting to forget any detail of the encounter. And it never happened again. However, after that night, I no longer felt his presence. He had moved on. Be it a parallel universe, another life, or just gone. Who knows? But this encounter only solidified my feelings that we are likely reincarnated. I don't think we have a lot of options after death. I don't think we can visit loved ones after death when we want to. Maybe there's a small window of time, or the living person needs to be in a certain frame of mind to receive them?? But I do think we reunite with them in one way or another in a new life. Same soul, different body? One day, we all will learn. Till then, let's be the best we can be in this life. 💚

Oh Deadbug you kill me,me & my fella are in stitches listening to you,it's kinda like a roller coaster of emotions.. Thankyou for everything you do.. I believe,not in a heaven but a spiritual plane/plain..like Stephen king(I think it was,the book insomnia)..it's like going into a high rise building & the lift takes you to the diffrent levels..I think as children we are connected more but as we grow up we kinda loose it,we get cynical 😂😂 & the older we get the worse we get,well I think men do😅😅(only joking)..And I think today's world is loosing touch with it even more..Also we loose our human form & just well we are an energy,energy always turns into something..I love the sky burials,i personally couldn't see my loved one go through that even though our body is only a vessel so to speak.. I hope we do get to meet our loved ones again,especially my daughter,miss her like crazy,she will always be forever 24.Another question is do we age in the spiritual world,or whatever you believe in??.. I would love to believe there's a heaven, but it sounds too good to be true. The closest thing I've seen to that is when I've been with people that are dying and minutes before the end, they get this peaceful look that's not easy to describe. I can see how someone can interpret it as if they just got a glimpse of something pretty awesome.

Great commentary on how the film/TV industry works; I have friends in the LA art and music scene, it's pretty gruesome. So much ego involved. As for the question of afterlife, I don't believe in it, much as I would love to. When we die, that's it. I wish there was something more, a place where we would reunite with our beloved dead, but nothing has yet convinced me.

The skeptical side of my mind thinks when we die, we die, and that’s it. The other side really hopes there is some sort of after life where I get to see my loved ones that I’ve passed.

I believe in reincarnation, heaven and hell on earth depending on your karma. I agree with you on some of these true crime hosts refusing to say trigger words. I listened to one recently where she kept saying he "R-worded her" WTF??? In closing that kid with the slingshot made 2 shots at 200 ft. The marble hit him in the head and they he hit him in the chest with a rock. A slingshot expert said they where near impossible shots.

Always a pleasure, dont think there is a heaven that we would be cognisant of but we are flooded with DMT as our brains final act so you'll likely feel heaven in that before moving on. I always liked to think when you die your mind relives or rewatches your memories and experiences and whether yours is heaven or hell depends on if you were a cunt or not in life.
