In an attempt to preserve your dragon, the love of your life - a powerful healer named Anshura, sacrificed part of her own spiritcore. Together with your earth magic, you encased Kyaxia deep in the ice. This process would give Kyaxia a chance at waking again, as she is slowly healed by the lifeforce of the Earth. However, it would take at least 100 years.

After the events, you stored your memories of that night in the library of the Akashai.

Every year, on the anniversary of the soul merge, you would return to the library and relive the memories of that evening, to remind yourself why you wait, and to strengthen your belief that one day, you will be able to look into Kyaxia’s eyes again. It will take a long time, but as the dragon rider class has extended lifespans, you hold onto hope.
