P.O. Box Setup for VHS Rips
Added 2023-03-30 03:55:16 +0000 UTCI'm officially starting work on the channel again. It took me awhile to find a new place to live, but a Miracle happened & I got a place one town over. Now that I'm doing youtube full time, I've setup a P.O. box where people can send VHS tapes. In general, these rips will be thrown on youtube & the internet archive, but I'm open to other options. I'm prioritizing lost media & things that desperately need to be in better quality first, so it'll be done on a tape by tape basis. Anyone already on the Patreon for awhile can send me whatever you want at no extra charge (within reason), after that I think it'll be part of the $25 tier to cover electricity to render a tape & the shipping back. None of this is set in stone, but the P.O. box is up & running so after I get a test package to see if it works fine (someone's sending something tomorrow), I should be able to open the floodgates. As for videos? I have all the time in the world now, so you'll see things happen pretty fast.

It's entirely possible it'll be down to just $10 at some point. I'm also making exceptions for lost media so if there's something that's absolutely in need of archiving just send it my way. I'll do it for free.
